What to Expect From Me

Post  Sasha Ripley on August 19th 2010, 10:48 am

Ok... fair is fair. I told you what I would like to see from you. This is what I expect from myself:

1. Everyone is promised a certain amount of matches per season. I make my entire season schedule ahead of time before the season even starts. If there happens to be openings somewhere in the schedule, I have matches that weren't promised, and those matches will go to the people that I believe deserve them most.

2. I plan on having everything look pleasing to the eye. Yeah, it will still mostly be text, there's not much I can do about that. But what I will do is that with each match I will insert a background that I personally made behind each match. Don't worry, the matches will still be readable. Also with graphics for every title and about a dozen different graphics for each show and Pay Per View, no show will ever look as boring as the regular show you will find anywhere else.

3. Various staff members that I will be making can be used at any time by any wrestler, as long as you keep them in character as much as you possibly can. There will also be a set of referees, in which each ref will ref their matches their own way. Most of them are fair, but there will be at least one for each side that favors heels and faces, which means even if a match on paper would look like a blowout, anyone can still win.

4. Titles will only be going to the better role players. If there is a title match, the winner of the match will be the one I believe deserved the title more through their role playing effort, unless I choose that it would be best for a storyline to go another way with it.

5. If you message me with something other than "You suck" or "You rock" I will reply every time. As long as it's productive toward a better show, and a better role playing experience, I will answer anything you can think of.

6. I will never change your dialogue in your role plays, unless you said something that I cannot air. Also, if there is a conflict between two people and their characters cannot agree on anything, I will be coming with the GM from that particular show, and making a choice for both sides. Meaning, if you really cannot agree on an angle, just yell at each other, but make sure it only affects your wrestlers, not you as a person. I will most likely break it up, and make the final ruling. With this rule in tact, you won't have to settle on your enemy's demands.

7. If you find a feud, I will make sure that the next season most of your matches will involve each other, if not all of them. The first season is going to be a little crazy because I'm sure I'm only going to have a week to sign up 30 people, and that can be rough, so if we don't get feuds done well enough during the first season, we will have them the following seasons.

8. If you want to create an ending to a match that both sides can agree on, I will allow it every time. In the same place you wrote the role play for the match, you write the ending. I will then insert that ending to the end of the match, and mold it in there so that it seems like I never fixed the match in the first place.

9. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I follow my own rules, and lead by example. I already have my biography up and running, so you can an example of what I'm looking for there. I will also role play as hard as everyone else does. If you role play harder than me, nice. I'll award you greatly for that.

If you think I should be doing more (within reason of course, I can't commit 24/7 to this) send me a PM and if I like the idea, it gets added into everything already here. I'm hoping that if you take the time to read everything I've posted, you'll know exactly how I want this place ran. Basically, I want it to be loose, and feel like you can be and do anything that's not crude or against TWG rules. And if you earn my trust, I will pretty much let you do everything your heart desires, even sometimes make calls on whether or not you want to win or lose a match. I can do anything I want to a show, even delete a whole match so that it never shows up. Heck, I can even add more than 10 matches, but those extra matches you won't get paid for though.
